Abstract Poetry #29 -Modern Day Sleeping Beauty-

Hello and welcome to the 29th Abstract poetry contest. As many of you know these contests are all picture prompt with a provided pic.

And also as always, the picture is copyright to Deviantart.com entitled "Modern Day Sleeping Beauty"

Rules are simple

-Abstract work
-All options are OPEN! (Except bashing other poets and something else. Please see below **)


Look BEYOND the picture and BEYOND outside the box. See something that no one else could see. When I look for abstract work...I LOOK FOR ABSTRACT WORK!

Anyway...


** I do have a feeling that religion may come into play so I will make a very SERIOUS note here that I usually let go of in my other contests.

DO NOT under any circumstances say that someone is wrong for following what they may believe. I don't care if in your work you place your own ideals and opinions about what YOU believe, and I will be leniant on letting you say something negative about another religion.

but...

If I find ANY poems that in some way say a religion should be banished or anything of that nature, I WILL CLOSE THE ENTIRE CONTEST! Not just ban the piece that entered, but THE WHOLE CONTEST!

    A lil late, but whatever.

    All the writes were awesome to read. Some did lean away from what I was looking for, while others went beyond it.

    Then a few hit dead center in my mind.

    I realize that some of my comments were short and plain, could be because Ive been busy this week and can't think too strait in what to say, but I have judged fairly.

    Just because I gave a short comment dosen't mean you were not close to winning. It took me a bit to make final decision.

    All in all,

    Another contest goes forward to past life, and thus another shall begin in its place. Greater or lesser, you be the judge.

    when it says all options open, does that include prose or story writting? not like a long story, but a bit further off the poem side of writing.
