Great is the power of might and mind
But only love can make us kind
And all we are and hope to be
Is empty pride and vanilty
And if love is not a part of all
The greatest man is very small

Dear Sandy,

I believe the quote is by Helen Stiener Rice
Can you provide information for picture credit?

Hello Dennis, I know it was her quote. I had her name beneath the poem. The picture is from a contest someone had about 3 years ago. I can not remember what poem I had entered in it but I saved the picture and found it in my file recently so I thought it would make another great contest picture. I will keep checking my 2000 poem and maybe I can find the contest and just maybe they had who the artist is. Sorry I can not be any more help. You take care. Sandy
