Do the Dictionary #2

Do the Dictionary
No cheating in this contest because you are only cheating yourself. I want you to take the dictionary, open a page, any page, get a pin and close your eyes. Stick the pin in a word.

Now, whatever that word is, will become the prompt for your poem. You must put that word and its definition in your author's notes.

Failure to do so will be an immediate DQ

No second chances, one shot with the pin!

Off you go and let's hope you don't get xylophone!!!

: any style
: more than 10 lines please but I don't want 1000 words on xylophone either
: no sticky caps
: humour is fine
: if you dare use an online dictionary, please don't use a pin!

You may reserve with your word as the reservation

    I had such a hard time judging this contest. Alas, I could only award 1 gold, silver and bronze but there were quite a few worthy trophy entries and so, I have added HM's.
