This year has been a tough one for me thus far. My heart was not just broken it was crushed. I find myself losing hope that I will ever find that once-in-a-life time-all-consuming-passion-and-desire filled love of my life. Loneliness is creeping in and I am losing faith. I want to be " in," love with the man who is as deeply in love with me. I want to be consumed by our desire for one another. I need to be wanted, loved, cared for and cherished as much as I want, love, care for and cherish my significant other. I am truly losing faith and starting to feel as if I am on the outside of the love/romance circle looking in and it is so depressing.......I know exactly what I want but will I ever find him?
Your challenge is to give me hope. Tell me your love story and make me believe. It really is as simple as that.
I am allowing pre-writes but make them special. I reserve the right to disqualify a pre-written if I feel it is not what I am looking for.

- Final notes: I want to thank each of you for entering my contest. This was very difficult to judge as there were so many great entries. I am only awarding gold to the poet/ poetess that sparked that flame of hope in my heart but I also wanted to acknowledge a few others.

All of these touched me and I thought they were exceptionally well written.
Gold goes to 20 minutes as I have not stopped thinking about the base concept of this piece. I didn't judge based on form, technique, spelling. I judged based solely on the ability to capture my attention and spark that hope with in my heart and 20 minutes did this. I want to love and be loved so much that it extends in to the after life so congratulations to the author of 20 Minutes and thanks again to every one who entered. You all made me feel lucky to have the opportunity to read so many wonderful pieces!
