So--here's a novel Idea--instead of having an AP "Family" (which I'll never understand) I'm looking for my AP posse. My crew. My boys. My homies. An entourage. Just a crowd of people who support and read and appreciate poetry the same way I do. Not say we don't all appreciate it--just, well, it's different for us all.
Here's the catch. If you read my poetry you'll realize something quickly. I believe in rhyme. Heavy rhyme. I've written a handful of non-rhyming but they are RARE.
So--get down with the get down. Write me something ridiculously rhyming and we'll see if we can get down.
I want something angry--dangerous--some Serious emotion in it. It can be passionate and loving so long as it has some Serious emotion.
Make it rhyme.
No cutting/bleeding/teen angst.
It MUST rhyme.
No erotica.
Tasteful cursing. (There's enough other words out there).
16-20 lines.
If you break the rules I'll bootcha. No questions asked, no explanations given.
