A new Contest for each and everyone in Allpoetry.
The pictures are a bit small so I will write the Quotes down again here.
1. Every artist dips his brush in his own soul and paints his own nature into his pictures.
(Henry Ward Beecher 1813-1887).
-> counts for poetry as well of course.
2. They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.
(Carl W. Bruechner)
3. I love acting. It's so much more real than life.
(Oscar Wilde 1854-1900)
4. Someone once asked me:
"Why do you always insist on taking the hard road?"
And I replied: "Why do you assume I see two roads?"
=====================================================================
Use one of the four Quotes, two or three or all of them at the same time...
It's up to you!
Be creative!
No need to use the most difficult words you can find...
I am really satisfied with simple beautiful poetry which touches my heart in one way or another.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on October 1, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 500, Silver: 375, Bronze: 275, Honorable mention: 7 people
- Final notes: Dear poets, the contest 'Use your creativity - Let you inspire...' has ended. Thank you all for participating. It was a joy to read all your lovely work and commenting on them.
Some poets had a good idea of what the Quotes meant, others used their imagination/creativity and came up with something else (close to the quote).
Since I had asked for creativity I did not judge too hard on how you used the quote. I understood that you all had done your utmost.
As I wanted to reward you all for your hard work, I decided to give the poets who did not win a trophy or an HM (and points) some points as well (20 points each).
Once again, thanks, and good luck with your next poems.
Anna.
