No inappropriate content including foul language, abuse themes or bloodletting of any kind.
Entry must comply with the given task or available options and identify the specific option chosen if applicable.
Text must be legible on the chosen background, style and form are poets choice.
Stage 6 Destination - Bahamas:
The options for this stage of the tour are:
* Write about whatever comes to mind from the image of "Lucayan Beach" at top of this page.
* This archipelago has a rich history with pirates, most notably being home to "Blackbeard" write about him, another well known pirate or piracy in general.
* The Bahamas was also a base for "rum running" during times of prohibition, write something using information about this as your prompt.
* As part of the Carribean it is also known for Reggae and Calypso style music, with this in mind you can write song lyrics in either style.
* Or use "Calypso Moon" as the title or prompt for your poem.
Through the rest of this series you will visit other destinations around the globe, each with a challenge relating in some way to that destination.
Each round, provided that everyone who is eligible has entered and no-one has withdrawn of their own accord, will see one of you be eliminated - only the top 3 on overall score will contest the final round.
Get your pens and paper and start writing.
Remember the Judging panel consist of myself (Errant Panther), crazylittledevil and Frozentearz.

Wow, look at that beech .. think I'd rather be there writing than sat in dreary old England.
Great contest series you have here certainly making me think a little harder about what to write than normal.

congrats all and thanks for the contest sadly due to repeated bad luck in the family my muse wasn't up to the task the last 3 rounds and I was amazed I just held on this long, good luck all that are left..it was a huge challenge at a difficult time for me against such talented writers too
