OK, this is my first contest, and I don't have too many points (sorry for those of you who want a lot of points), but if I get more and the entries are good I might add more *hint* *hint*. I made this contest for those of you who can’t write enough poetry about the seasons. But if you don’t write a lot of it, and still want to enter, feel free to do so. So I guess what I’m trying to say is this: if you can write about the seasons and haven’t won gold, this is the contest for you!
Rules:
1. No cussing AT ALL. If you do, you will be immediately removed (no ifs, ands, or buts about it)
2. Please make it suitable for 12 year old ears (no profanity; bloody, violent descriptions, ect.)
3. No bashing of religion: you will be removed if you do so
4. No StIcKy CaPs
5. Be polite to this contest and it's contestants
6. If you've won gold, please refrain from entering or I will remove you
Hints:
*I don't really like love poems. In fact, I don't really like them at all. So if you want to win, do something else (but I don't really know how love could relate to seasons)
*I like poems that don't come right out and tell me what they mean. Try adding metaphors and similes.
*Your poem can be whatever length you want, but I really do like poems that aren't too long or too short (30 - 75 lines is best)
*Try to be descriptive. I like detailed poems, as long as they don’t have TONS of big words that I have to constantly look up. It might put me to sleep.
*Talking about what happens in nature during these seasons is another idea if you don’t want to just write about falling leaves or snowflakes or blossoming flowers and such things.
*If you’re wondering what my favorite season is, well, I like them all, but spring’s the best!
*Have fun and be creative!
It is now the 30th of September, and only a 4 people had entered. I extended the date for the 2nd and FINAL time, to the 10th of October. Please enter.
The sky’s the limit! Be as creative as you please!
If you have any complaints or suggestions, just tell me!

It's there. I don't think it says that it changed either, but to me, it doesn't matter. I like the poem.
Good luck. -LongPatrol -
Aw, too bad no prewrites are allowed! I just saw this contest - a few hours before it closes - and though I don't have time to write anything new, I do have two seasonal poems already written. Sniff, sniff!
Looks like a very cool and fun contest! Best wishes, everyone!
