A tribute to all the fallen hero's of 9-11

What I would love to see are works of art remembering all the fallen hero's of 9-11.

Let's celebrate what they did with their lives. And lets honor them with our words.

Since today is 9-11 I will be ending this contest today. So you only have today to do your wonderful works of art.

You can write any kind of poem you want. It just has to honor those who fell on that horrible day.

Thanks ahead of time to all those who enter this contest. And thanks for honoring all those wonderful people who gave their lives in order to save lives.

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on September 12, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 50, Bronze: 50
  • Final notes:
Thank you all for joining this contest honoring 9-11 and all our fallen. It is necessary sometimes that we remember the painful so that we can continue on in life. Sharing our grief is healthy.

You all wrote wonderful poems here and I wish I could have given you all trophies both in honor of what you wrote and in honor of what you wrote about. However, I just don't have enough points saved up to do that.

You are all wonderful! Thanks again for sharing these wonderful writes with all of us.

Peace to you, my friend. As someone who worked at ground zero, and lost my cousin, I join thousands of others in remembering this day. If my hands are okay later this afternoon, I will definitely write on this subject!

I did one of these same contests on the 1st Year after Sept 11th happen. It was a huge wake up call to us all for sure. I started on a path just before that event happen. I put a book together about it.

I had alot of very bad posts on my contest since everyone was too damn angry back then.

I have the Press Release of what has happen to me and this book. I think a lot of inspiration comes from unknown sources either Paranormal or something else.

Thank you for the gold. This must have been a nightmare to judge, since all the entries are of incredibly high standard.
    Congrats to the other winners.
