PROMPT FOR THIS ROUND IS:
WRITE A POEM ABOUT THE FUNNIEST THING YOU HAVE EVER SEEN, HEARD , DONE, OR IMAGINED. HOW IT CAME TO BE THE FUNNIEST THING YOU EVER EXPERIENCED OR THOUGHT OF I DON'T REALLY CARE BUT IT HAS TO BE KNEE SLAPPIN, FOOT STOMPIN, ROLLING ON THE FLOOR FUNNY!
It must make me laugh in:
10 - 40 lines of poetry(no more or no less)
regular rules apply!
Now I have to be honest, very few poems in round one made me laugh very hard and I know you are all capable of doing so even if I am on the grumpy side or hard to make laugh, so please be funny. Any Poem that makes me laugh so hard I pee my friggin britches I will give an extra 1500 points, you have my word on it.
How many writers are left to go on to round three depends on how many of you that write something that makes me or Dustookie2 laugh.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on September 21, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 625, Silver: 400, Bronze: 200, Honorable mention: 7 people
- Final notes: well Mook and I had a real go of deciding the winners, for the first time our picks were really different from each others so we just kind of averaged them out and this what we came up- with.
The 10 finalist will go on to the last and final round for the funniest poet.
Dustookie2 says: It was a hard one to judge so many good poems but more than that I would like to thank you all for the experience and the pleasure I personally had from reading the entries....each one touched me on some level and made me feel good ....... thanking you all
