Autumn is officially just around the corner so lets write poetry dedicated to this beautiful time of year.
Feel free to write whatever is inspired by the season and in whatever form you choose. All types are encouraged... funny, serious and everything in between so be creative. Please be sure to check spelling, grammar, etc.
Only one entry per person will be allowed so if you decide to enter a different poem, it will overwrite the original entry.
**** New modification... You May enter a prewritten poem if it meets the contest criteria, which is of course the Autumn season. AND... it must not be entered in anther contest at the same time and must not have previously won a gold, silver or bronze trophy in another contest****

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on September 23, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 500, Silver: 150, Bronze: 75, Honorable mention: 3 people
- Final notes: This has been a wonderful contest with all of the lovely Autumn poems. There was a tie for 2nd place and I loved both poems, both equally supurb. I couldn't decide so I finally closed my eyes and pointed. Thus the placement of Dove for 1st place, Wingsofgold25 for 2nd place and Huntress for 3rd place.
Thank you all for a great contest, it's been most enjoyable reading
