50 Quatrains

This will be my 51st AP contest so please help me celebrate by writing a quatrain, rhymed or unrhymed about one of three prompts:

- anniversaries (it will be my first AP anniversary on September 28th)

- anything that the number 50 calls to mind. That one is wide open.

- autumn and/or Hallowe'en

Four lines, shouldn't be too difficult. Have fun with it.

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on September 20, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50
  • Final notes:
50 quatrains. That was aiming a bit high but I enjoyed the writes that did come in. Keep those poems coming!

Thank you to all who submitted their work.

      Thank you

for letting me know since I work with cats and have been bitten on occasion!

I didn't enter contests at all when I first joined AP but I'm over my timidity now.
