Nubble Lighthouse

My husband and I recently visited York, ME and I just fell in love with the area and especially the very picturesque, much-photographed Nubble Lighthouse.

It's begging for a beautiful poem, don't you think?

One that is...

short, (10-30 lines or so)

succinct but powerful

full of imagery

and other poetic device.

Let the photo (yes, I took it with my simple little digital camera) inspire you and write something beautiful!

What beautiful poetry and many interesting takes on the photo prompt! It was a delight to read the poems inspired by the picturesque Nubble Lighthouse. I truly enjoyed each one and I look forward to reading more poetry from each of you.

I am glad that you've seen this one, too. I was a lighthouse paparazza--couldn't stop snapping pictures of it.
