This is for anyone and everyone!
I have finally reached my goal of 2000pt. Never had this much at one time before. So I'm holding a BIG contest. It will hopefully get bigger and I will increase the rewards as well as Honorable mentions depending on how many intries I get.
I have most recently gotten into Haiku. Even if you don't do it properly I will take the poem as long as you tried.
Look at the pages of Myron, or Amera. for definitions and examples
Here is an example of mine:
the flower blooms
to the heaven-
message sent
It doesn't have to be 17 syllables or 5-7-5, The major point of a haiku is 1 statement in two lines, with a jux.
If you have Questions IM me.
Your promt for the Haiku is: Purity or Kappa
I will take 3 diff. meanings for Kappa since that's how many thier are, but only choose one.
1. It is a symbol in Greek for Purity, 2. It is a the letter K in the Greek alphabet, 3. In Japan, Kappa is a Water Demon
Which ever you choose is fine. Although in my opinion # 2 def. of Kappa will be pretty hard.
Rules:
1. keep it clean
shouldn't be hard considering the prompt.
2. #1 referse to words and imagery.
3. No FunKy TYpo.
4. In Author's Notes, put Witch Prompt You chose, even if it's obvious. That way I know you followed the rules.
Please follow rules I don't like to DQ', but I will if I have to You will get a warning first, and I will give an explanation.
I will comment at the end of contest, and comments I make at the begining will be those who need to follow the rules.
The comment for the judging I will give when over. Everyone will get a comment. so stick around.
My mother: PianoMelody, will also be looking at the poem and giving her opinion, since she is the one who named me, I wanted her to be apart of this, thx for all you who have entered so far.
Keep Checking for updates, other than that Have fun!

I do believe this is the most fun I have had in a contest and also the most challenging.
