Bunny also donated an extra 500 points for a PIF "quickie & have some fun"

Thank you, Bunny!!!!

But wait!!

Our poet friend, FransB  also added another 300 points to the contest, so the winner of the Gold will keep half and pay forward the other half of 600 points won. Thank you, Kind Sir!!!

So, let's jump into a fun fall offering...

AP Rules Apply.

10 Poets, 10 Lines or Less.

Winner of Gold to host next PIF contest.

Will judge as soon after contest ends as possible.

Arafura is a collaborator & will be helping with judging.

Prompt: Describe your most fun memory of the fall season...

"Besides the autumn poets sing,
A few prosaic days
A little this side of the snow
And that side of the haze."

~ Emily Dickinson

Huh? Did someone say summer's already over?? Thank you, Poets! Your heart-felt autumn memories were all very beautifully written!! This contest was a difficult one to judge, and as you know, there were two of us in the mix.  And unfortunately, there were only three top awards to give, so for that, I feel some of you were left out in the chilly autumn wind... You all deserve to show off the golden fall foliage of your masterwork in a shiny golden chalice. Thanks again for entering our contest, and Congratulations to  all... Each and every poem gently touched my heart. Let's not forget Arafura Thank you  for your helpful assistance, your considerate wisdom, and your thoughtful comments on each piece, John!!! I couldn't have done it without you. Peace and Love Always, Cyn
