- Final notes: Well let me first say that this is the first contest I ever held where I thought every poem deserves a trophy. This was truly the hardest contest I ever ever had to judge.
The beauty of your poems were a pleasure to read and I read each a few times. They all brought me such comfort for a few personal reasons. That is one reason why I held the contest. I needed to be uplifted and every one of your poems did that. I thank you so much for that. You all were inspired in so many ways by the picture. There is so much talent within these poems.
