Terrifyingly Scary

Make me FREAK OUT! As in, not sad experiences, make me have NIGHTMARES TONIGHT!

Here are a few quotes from movies to help you out, taken from:
http://halloween.fandango.com/trickortreat/alltimehorrormoviequotes.php

"Do you like scary movies?" – Scream (1996)

"Would you like to play a game?" – Saw (2004)

"Have you checked the children?" - When a Stranger Calls (1979 and 2006)

"Be afraid. Be very afraid." - The Fly (1986)

"Whatever you do, don't fall asleep." - A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)

"You're gonna die up there!" - The Exorcist (1973

"Get out! GET OUT!" - The Amityville Horror (1979)

"Look what your brother did to the door!" - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)

There. Now, Here are a few rules:

NO PREWRITES - I find it annoying
NO ADULT STUFF - I'm just 14!
Please do spell check before entering your poems. I am a Grammar Freak.
No ThIs (StIcKy CaPs)
Don't make it suicidal, unless its like the movie "Saw"
No cursing
No God stuff. Example: "Satan drags me down... God hates me... blablabla" But I accept hell and demons. But don't make it your priority.

Tips for getting on my good side:

I am scared less of "The Ring".
I am also very afraid of mirrors at night (because of "The Ring", Bloody Mary and "The Grudge")
I LOVE rhyming poetry.
Try not to use symbolism tooooo much...
Triple-check your poem for spelling errors.
REMEMBER: I AM ONLY 14, NO ADULT STUFF!!!
Answer my messages, I don't want to be penalized for one of YOUR mistakes... again.

AND HAVE FUN!!! Be scary!

  • Final notes:
I was honestly very disappointed in this contest, I hope next time you will do better. Although, the people who won was because:
    1. They either took my advice on how to scare me at least slightly
    2. They quenched my thirst for gory poems}
    3. It seemed suicidal and I could relate
    4. Grammar and rhyming.

But I love that you all entered! I hope you will join my next contests! (Once I recuperate all my points, I feel broke. )
