Lets see if the great poets of Time can get the inspiration flowing. Pick a poem by any Oldpoetry poets and write a poem either in response to, inspired by, or in the style of that poet's work. Please identify the poet and the work in the Author's Notes.
Rhyme is preferred but not mandatory.
Please pay attention to grammar and other particulars.
No nonsense like oddly placed capitalization.
Oh, and please, try not to be vulgar.
I hope to see some good writes. Thank you for taking the time to read this far.
P.S. Unrelenting scorn for anyone using the word "thee" simply because they can not think of rhyming words! (Far too many people do that on this site)

HI, It would be nice to have prewrites, as they have been edited and worked on?
-
I actually have a prewrite in response to a poem by John Clare and I'm sure many others have some prewrites too if you choose to open it up to them.
Either way, I am going to muse on this. -
