Do You Truly Love The Rain?

If you truly love the rain, then feel free to join my group "I Truly Love The Rain." That's pretty much the reason for this contest. Not to get you to join the group, but to get you to write a poem or story about how you truly love the rain. It can be in any kind of category you wish, just please label it correctly. The contest will close before the posted date. I'm on vacation and won't go back to work until 2 September 2008 (this should give you a hint that it will be judged by or before that date). I know many have written about the rain before, so please don't ask for prewrites to be allowed. If you truly love the rain, you can always write about it. For me, I have been daydreaming alot about it lately. So many different memories I have about the rain and will always have room to make more. What are you waiting for, write about yours or go make some now and write about it. It's time for me to go play in the rain...see you there!

    I'm truly impressed with all the entries in this rain contest. Please don't be discouraged if you were not in the finalists column. Even the ones that made it there were quite tough to choose the winner. I had to go with the one that let my imagination stroll with the words as I felt like I was there reliving moments in the rain. Then there is always the eroticness the rain provides. The uniqueness of Glass Streets was mind blowing. But the other four remaining in the finalists list was quite impeccable. I congatulate all that took the time to post in this contest with a subject so close to my heart. I can't even begin to write how much I truly love the rain, but wish I could. Thanks again for bringing the rain back to life as I like to see it.

    I live for rainy days. They make my life bearable. I learned to read weather maps so I could figure if we were getting any rain that week.
