- Final notes: Wow!!! I have to say I am extremely Honored to have had so many Excellent entries which swelled my eyes but also brought through Powerful messages- Difficult to decide~

**HM's are in NO particular order but I felt everyone brought forth from Spirit~ touched deep with words- I needed to award for Your Time...
Abuse is a painful topic- I imagined many dug deep to the core to bring forth a Voice....with this I am Humbled...
Wish I could have given out more Trophies!

**The Gold: This verse grabbed with imagery, energy felt but also when I went line by line, let the words sink in-
Powerful metaphors that gave this child a Voice- though painfully unheard.
I kept seeing The Leave it to Beaver family on the outside- but underneath,
hidden secrets of a child's worst nightmare.
**The Silver: Quite the interesting piece for I dissected each line- let the words also sink in- Energy shook- I looked beyond the metaphors and the Powerful images
struck with lightning speed- painfully so but one that needed to be seen.
It is amazing what the child endures- where some think the aftermath does not cause *that much damage* however- the mirror reflects otherwise.
**The Bronze: Now this one also a Powerful verse for I kept seeing abuse which could take many forms- even trying to lay guilt on another where the abuser tries to warrant reason for why he or she inflicted harm- also how the face may force a smile but it is a frown that happened to have turned upside down for the moment...sometimes slapped into shape...
Again- I'm Honored You took a moment to share Your Wisdom- also pain in some cases...
Each of You deserved recognition-
Please continue to speak- and help the Innocent share his or her Voice
especially when they are unable to speak!!

sorry hon.. this is one that i can not touch without hatred pouring out of me. i was that child in my own way and to back there brings out all the anger, angst and pain too fast and too strong for me to write about this right now.

I must say ~ it takes Strength to even step back and be in control after enduring the trauma- one can only imagine what a child would go through- I commend You for sharing Your feelings
