So this being my first contest, I want a variety of poems. But - I do want emotion. Imagery is always a plus, just don't go overboard with it. Make me feel what you're feeling, get me inside of your mind. Make me laugh, make me cry.
Here's what I'm looking for:
1) Tell me what you're feeling - lovesick, depressed, elated; doesn't matter, just make me feel it.
2) Share a dream with me; one you've had while sleeping, or just something you've always wanted to see/do
3) Tell me about someone who has made a huge impact on your life; someone who has made you who you are today (could be in a good way or bad)
4) Write me something romantic/sensual/erotic
5) Tell me about your favourite day with someone you love...what you did, where you went, how you felt, etc
6) Tell me about the most embarassing thing that's happened to you or someone you know
7) Write what you will! Just describe what inspired you in your AN
Ok so now the rules - don't worry, there aren't many
1) Spellcheck. Major pet peeve of mine
2) No bashing of anyone or anything please and thanks
3) I don't care about the length too much - but don't make me die of boredom.
4) Make the background/font colour legible
5) Any form; rhyming, free verse; just write it in a way that will impact me
6) I love reading AN...so please describe your poem there too!
and lastly...please put your username in the AN
