Background Contest

 

For this contest I’m going to be incredibly selfish.
I’m sick of using plain backgrounds or the ready made ones on here.

I want you to create a background (not a poem, unless in addition you feel the need to) for me.


I have tried to myself, but I’m hopeless. Please someone help me!

I will use the gold trophy winner’s background on my home page, and may well use the backgrounds of silver, bronze and any honourable mentions’ in other work I post.

I will ALWAYS feature the creators name somewhere on the page with the background.


Ok, some hints of my preferences -

 * I like: silver, black, pink, navy, turquoise, violet etc


* I don’t like: green, brown, gold, or any other rusty or earthy colours.

* I prefer simple styles; nothing too busy where my text will appear please.

 

* Nothing too saddening or too eccentric. I like sophisticated, simple, smooth images.

 

* In terms of art I enjoy patterns and images of people that tell a story through expression.

 

* You may use my username in the background, but please NOT my picture.

* Feel free to look at my home page for ideas, or MESSAGE ME for other details.


POINTS MAY INCREASE IF I REALLY LIKE ENTRIES.

 

PB. This contest is NOT anonymous. This is in case any entrant needs to message me regarding  their background.

    Here's the truth, I couldn't decide so you've all won a trophy!!

    I chose the top three as winners because they are my favourites out of the bunch and they are the colours and images that I'd most likely use.

    But the truth is I liked them all.
