This is a contest for Yoda-style poetry. Yes, the Yoda from Star Wars, the baddest green muppet in the universe. Poems must be written in the style that Yoda talks. If you don’t know who Yoda is, or have never seen Star Wars, feel free to write a poem in the style of Robert Frost – just please don’t enter it in this contest, because Robert Frost is not Yoda.

Rules:
1. Use Yoda-speak, you must.
2. Give me substance! Beauty! Wit!
3. Poem does not have to be about Star Wars, but should be very wise.
4. if Jedi you are, use the force sparingly (only fair, that will be)
5. Use the spellie checkie thingie.
6. Not too long, silly!
Fine print:
Judging contests can be hard. Thinking overly much gives me a headache, so if judging gets too hard I may be forced to pick the winners by pulling poems out of a hat. But if that happens, I give you my word that all the poems will be in the hat this time.
