Theme is a tribute to Love...and the healing of its wounds.
Lately, I've discovered a need for reminders...
why do we sacrifice, rearrange and bleed for those we love?
Below, find quotes based around this theme that call to me.
Choose a quote and write in any form/length
but be sure it pertains to the theme!
And for added pleasure, stop by and read

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on August 26, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 413, Silver: 269, Bronze: 126
- Final notes: Outstanding!!! I am wondrously overwhelmed, still filled with the beauty and meaning
of the words each of you responded with.
So much so, that I felt it necessary to
award dual recognition of the top three!
So, if you placed as a finalist, know it
was a fantastic feat deserving of a
complimenting recogniton. Obviously, I recommend reading those chosen, but I
especially would like to draw attention to
"The Gardens of Eden" which was written by
a sixteen year old with brevity and true
feeling. Truly, I appreciate all of the muses entered and
hope to have a chance to honor them again
in a future theme. Blue
