God? The Devil? Yourself? A butterfly?

Alright this is simple.

I want to know what you have faith in.

For those who are religious:
I want to know about your religion, why it means so much to you, why you are of that religion, your struggles with it.

For those who are NOT religious:
Tell me who/what you have faith in. Tell me why, explain to me how this person/thing makes you feel, explain to me how they/it gets you through the day.

A few notes:
1-I am not religious but writing a religious poem will not in any way hurt your chances of winning
2-I want to see passion...it's what makes me love this kind of poetry
3-Any deletions or DQs will not be notified by me...however the site will send you a message
4-Points and HMs may be added depending on the number of entries.
5-I will comment on all pieces
6-I prefer fresh work over prewrites however entering a PW will not hurt your chances of winning
7-I will not appluad any entries
8-Don't be fooled by comments sometimes the poems I leave the best comment for does not even place...be optimistic!

The rules:
1-If YoU TyPe LiKe ThIs...don't bother entering I won't even read it.
2-ABSOLUTELY NO BASHING OF ANY KIND
3-Nothing over 30 lines
4-Try reading some of the other entrants work it is polite
5-Keep it PG I would like for everyone to be able to read your work
6-Any and all rule brakers will be removed

      AWWW how said you dont even have anyone in your life that you have god faith in like a family member or your best friend? You can really write about anything that keeps you pushing on for the next day.

        unfortunately, i have a poor relationship with my family, so no such looking up to there.
        my best friend is just like me, she needs me, and i need her, but i wouldn't call that a faith.
        my boyfriend, i love him incredibly so, and i do look up to him, but having him be my faith? that might be strange, because if something happens, and we break up, i lose my faith, and will probably feel like my god had deserted me.
        i don't really have a faith, because i'm not exactly sure what a faith should be, or who it should be.

          I don't know my theroy is anything that keeps you looking forwars to the next day or keeps even a small smile in your mind when times are rough...that is faith it doesnt have to be god or any of those...it does not even have to be a person. Sometimes a persons faith is only in themselves but thats ok too. LOL I get what you mean tho I didnt have much faith in anything for a long time either. One day youll willf ind soemthing or someone that fits and you will know. It's just like love when it's right it's right.
