Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on August 18, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 1000
- Final notes: Can I just say WOW!
These entries had me all over the place. I think at one point during the night, each one of you won gold. I really wanted to do this fair, and objective-like, because you awesome poets deserve nothing better. I know I had some heavy hitters in my contest, and I'm humbled, and really wanted to do right by everyone. In the end, it came down to one word.
Infinity
It's not a word I used often in my own writing, but staring at this picture, which by the way is a real photo, I couldn't help the feelings of a spell being cast, or the hand of my Higher Power himself reaching down and panting that moon just so.
This write was full of magic and awe, inspiring, genuine, and playful. But that word did it.
Congratulations, you did a wonderful job, and you should be proud.
Much love to all,
jin
