Bring Me Hope...

One of my very closest friends in this world lost their father unexpectedly today, and I would like some poems to give hope, to somehow help for closure. They had not spoken in some time. Losing a parent is hard for anyone to deal with...

Rules:

- NO religion (because many differ).

- nothing too long, 20 lines or less.

- Make an impact.

I will most likely have them read these or print them out.
If you do not wish for 'that', please do not enter.

I want something meaningful...

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on October 14, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 300, Bronze: 200, Honorable mention: 7 people
  • Final notes:
Thank you ALL for your patience, your kind words and well wishes ...

This was a very difficult contest to judge for me, and my friend is truly thankful - but could not bring himself to help me judge this.

I chose those I felt related more to his pain, how he would feel - and the relationship they had. He never got to have that loving relationship with his father he longed for sadly, and I think that made it even harder - he thought there would be t i m e.

God bless you all, for those who believe and those who don't, we all have our beliefs ...

Just because you did not place, doesn't mean I did not enjoy your write. Thank you again! Take care!
