New background...again.

Kay, I had to change my name, so I'm having a contest for a new background, or graphics so I could make my own. It isn't annonymous...and I'm encouraging my friend and family to enter if they do graphics. I like bright colors, orange white yellow and pink. I also like stuff that's black and white with one outstanding color...so yeah. Uhm...I think that's it...KAY GO!

    Not trying to insult you as a host or the person who won gold, but it seems you picked a friend's picture as the winner and they put NO effort into it - just found a picture and posted the link. Contests should be about talent, skill, what comes across as the best, etc. They didn't even put your name on it in using Paint. I also think its funny because you are using the 2nd place person's background right now, not the 1st place.

    I guess the quality of contests on AllPoetry have just diminished and this is how they are being run now. Picking favorites is not how they should ever be run. Never. I am not saying I should have placed any higher than I did, but I think you need to reevaluate how you host contests and how you pick your winners. Also, I don't appreciate that I spent 30 minutes on your background and I don't even deserve a comment? You could have taken 2 minutes and commented on my picture, but I guess I must just suck and should go to hell because you can't even do that for me.
