OK This is a choices contest, simple we've all been there and done one so no need to explain it to much.
Below is a list of choices ranging in difficulty from Easiest to Hardest.
The first few choices are simple and open towards the end of the list though they get a bit harder. The choices i have listed as harder are labelled that because it takes alot to impress me writting about the subject.
I'll let you know what i am going to be judging you on so that you can have a better chance at winning.
1) If you choose an option closer towards the bottom it will count in your favor.
2) Choosing a hard option isn't just enough it also has to be good, so no picking a hard topic and writting a terrible poem.
3) Try to be original, so no cliches.
Now for the annoying rules but i'll keep it short.
1) Tell me which option you have picked in your author notes or even as the title.
2) Spelling and grammer aren't that important to me but try and make it legible.
3) I'm allowing pre-written poems but if they dont fit one of the choices i will remove it from the contest.
NOW FOR THE CHOICES.
Easier
1) Animals - Pick one or write a poem about them in general, wild or pet its all good.
2) Nature - This is different to animals, I mean the earth (plants, weather etc).
3) Funny - Write me something funny, it could be a limerick or a funny story its your choice.
4) Drugs - Either an experience about drugs or even just your opinion on drugs in poetry form.
Harder
5) Love - It takes a lot to impress me with a poem about love, it can be your experience or the desciption of love.
6) Suicide - Make it orginal, i know sucicide is sad but try to write a poem without it being cliche. If you want to know what i mean read my poems "It was all for you" or "To the poor soul who finds me". They are based on suicide but not the typical angst.
7) Apologies - I want a poem about apologising to someone, this choice allows for the people who want to write a longer piece because i want you to tell me what you did and how you apologise. Make it poetic though not a story.
8) Obesity - I am overweight, i grew up overweight and i have had a lot of friends who were and are overweight. So be careful with this pive because its a touchy subject. You have poetic license with this choice, write what you want about obesity or being obese.
NOW YOU HAVE YOUR CHOICES WRITE ME SOMETHING GOOD, POINTS ARE AT MINIMUM FOR NOW UNTIL I SEE THE PIECES THAT ARE ENTERED.
THE BETTER THE PIECES THE BETTER THE POINTS, I WILL POST UPDATES ON WHAT THE POINTS ARE UP TO.
