I received this message from a friend and it reminded me that sometimes it's necessary to tell someone that you love them...

All I ask is that you don't give me an epic to read because although I love reading poetry my time is limited so I would like you to submit less than 40 lines.

No sticky caps or chatspeak
Please pay close attention to your spelling and grammar.I will send a message if I notice any errors in these areas and if not corrected you will not be considered for a trophy. I'm sorry, but I feel that if you take the time to put your thoughts into a poem you should also take the time to ensure that your words are presented in the appropriate manner.
There is no place in this contest for dark writes; sorry again, but I am looking for uplifting poetry.
It would be appreciated if you use a capital I when referring to yourself...I I I I I...not hard to do and another reason I will not consider your poem in the judging if you do not comply.
I reserve the right to DQ any entries I deem to be inappropriate to the prompt.
Points will be added, as well as HMs, depending on the quality and quantity of entries...I have a gazillion points available so all I ask is that you write something to earn them.
Please take the time to submit something that will make me feel warm and fuzzy...it's something I need right now.
