Inspired by a current tv ad campaign for a Sunday newspaper.. tell me what you are, what you've been and maybe what you'd like to be in your life. I'm changing my usual proviso here and only allowing new writes for now, however it may change depending on how many entries I receive. I prefer free verse, but also like great metaphor. Enter as many times as you like. Please read the rules, they're necessary.
Rules:
1. Nothing too graphic/violent etc, if 'adult' please label appropriately.
2. No bashing other poets - keep this constructive, it's a creative site.
3. Swearing to a minimum please
4. Good spelling and grammar throughout - please note the first person singular is I not i...
5. No stiCKy CAps and text talk - that's a DQ, which is something I don't like doing.

- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 80, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 3 people
- Final notes: Thanks to everyone who has entered the competition, the standard was high even though the number of entries was less than I'd hoped for. Regardless what I have received have been very creative and well written pieces and I've enjoyed reading every one of them. Certainly confirms my belief that there are definitely so many talented writers out there. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share some of your work.
