Tomorrow is my birthday, so I decided to do a contest for myself (selfish man that I am).
You have several options. Each option deals with something that I love or feel strongly about, so you can't go wrong.
1.) Write a poem inspired by either of these songs. Any theme is acceptable, as long as the heart of the music is in your words.

2.) Write a poem inspired by Robert Howard and/or his writing. If you aren't familiar with REH, he created Conan, Kull, and many other popular fantasy figures.
3.) Write a poem concerning the blood, sweat, and tears that a weightlifter, powerlifter, or bodybuilder goes through to stay strong in a world filled with idle, lazy people. Pushing iron is a lifelong love, and I want to read about the journeys of others in the game.
4.) Racial prejudice. My blood is a mingled mess of several races, and I can't understand why some people insist on claiming that one race is superior to another...when we're all created in the image of God. Enough said.
5.) For those few that know me, write a poem to/for me. Just 'cause.
Make sure that you note which option you chose when you submit your poem. Thanks in advance, all.

The entries are not many, but they're some of the best I've seen on AP. Thanks for coming, guys.
Probably going to judge this one early. Better a handful of real poems than an abundance of half-hearted attempts.
No one will walk away empty-handed. -
Thank you so much for the honor of Silver....I am so pleased you enjoyed my birthday wishes for you. I hope you had a great day!!
Congrats. to all the winners

Terribly afraid I don't have time to write a poem for you, dear friend (leaving to get fitted for a renn dress in a few minutes), but I do want to wish you the happiest of birthdays!
