Yah yah your probably like ooh another love poem contest wooperz. Well lemme just say that this love contest is different. I don't want mushy poo about kissie face and touchie

love that makes you wanna hurl and kick stuff 
Love that makes you crazy. Vampyres in love with Werewolfs. 
s. Falling in love with anime characters. Stuff like that. Now, heres the twist: I want you to find a love poem or love song from another poet and rewrite a new version of it.
Example:
Original:
but soft what light through yonder window breaks
it is the east and Juliet is the sun
Rewrite:
but harsh what lousy tramp through yonder window sneaks
its that skank from the east that stole my boyfriend

When you do your rewrite of a existing love poem you need to add the real poem below it an credit the original poet or band
Rulez:
no adult content poems or erotic poems. I wont be able to read them so theyll be DQd
Any poem style is fine but it has to match the poem style of the poem your starting with
I doubt you have a prewrite for this but if you do you can enter it.
Fail to follow the rulez and Sweaters will send hungry rabid bunnies to your house to eat your shoes
Put "Angry bunnies take no prisoners" in your ANs so I know you understood the rulez
You can reserve but if you do and you dont put a poem in I'm sending the bunnies anyway

i guess if you have a really mushy one you could start with that one sure ill try to get a list of poems into the contest for others to look at as examples. I used the Tower scene from Romeo and Juliet in describing but like even the Raven by Poe was a love poem so i guess any poem thats about love can be redone. The ravens pretty twisted already though I'll leave slack for everybody to decide what they wanna do their poems from.
