I FORGOT! Please add you name to the author's notes so I'll know which two poems are yours! DUH!
If you were on my list at some point please let me know. Names fall off every now and again for some cyber reason.
ALSO: Please add the day you joined AP to the author's notes.

On Sunday, July 27, 2008 I was a member of this site for five years.
I'd like for you to submit the first poem you posted on this site, and the most recent poem. Two entires please. Prewrites allowed.
With my little five years experience, I am going to decide who of all of you has grown most from first entry to most recent.
That's it, that's all! Oh and by the way...you could say "Happy Anniversary" if you are so moved.

Oh1 Oh! Check this out. Fantastic! Performance Theatre at its most dramatic!

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on September 1, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 750, Silver: 500, Bronze: 250, Honorable mention: 3 people
- Final notes: Whew! What a task! There's a reason why you All are on my Favorite's List! Sorry for the delay in judging but I really did want to read and re-read all 68 poems entered here. All the work was good! Some of the first posts needed editing more than anythong else. Many of you (you know who you are) have really progressed in your writing style and presentation.
All in all, I was delighted to read and enjoy the caliber of talent in my group of favorites.
THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!
GOLD - "Branded"
SILVER - "Where Sand Meets Sky (A Kyrielle)"
BRONZE - "Denouncement"
Honorable Mentions in no particular order.
God Bless and have a great holiday!
Renee ♥

The first poem I posted .. isn't here anymore
but I love the idea of this, as it will show such a dramatic ( fitting word lol ) difference in people's work..
wonderful!
now to check your link..
-
-
My first poem was gone after a year or so. None of my first year's work is here anymore. I remember, it was about a "black bird" in Poe style or so I thought.
I can't remember the poet but he tore it up in critique. LOL I stayed away for about two weeks.
Hope to see your two poems here lady!
Don't forget to add your screen name and date you joined AP to the author's notes.
Much Love & Respect ♥

I'll add mine if you say yes,
oh what the heck, I will anyway..
and all my assorted names since

Much love and respect in return

First and last, huh... geeze, my last one would have to be a silly contest poem but okay I'll post them even if that particular last one doesn't show much progress, it's just a fun poem for a fun contest... but.. I won Silver at least
Or can it be a very recent one that's more poetic?
Happy AP anniversary
You've been around awhile but I have ya beat, Sis. I joined October 2001... Wow... it'll be seven years. Yipes!!

Dear Sis',
You may use any recent poem you wish. I'm easy these days. Kids all grown, no grandkids for the Summer. My Directing Summer Camp is over, and I'm Free!
Do as you wish Love! I hope you and hubby are getting along well. I keep you in mind Dee, and send angels and prayers always.

I loved reading everyones comments and stories. So here is mine (the short version)

I joined AP as KeepingTheStars June 27, 2003 looking for solace, I found part of my heart here.. and on September 23, 2004 I moved to SeptemberFaith because of the FAITH that SEPTEMBER brought.
Renee, you have been a beautiful part of my experience at AP and one of the most sincere people I met. A Sister of my heart.
I love you dearly and am so glad that you have celebrated you 5 year anniversary. It's funny, I joined 1 month before, TO THE DAY! Great minds think alike!
-
Happy Anniversary, Renee!

Um...come to think about it, mine has just passed, too (four years). Dang it, I feel like an old lady!
I will warn you ahead of time that my latest poem is personal, but nowhere near my best, I think.
I'll try to write you something better and enter that. I don't remember that you read my very first poem. I'll have to look back and see.
Be back in a little while
Many blessings,
Raven Aurora (little sister)
-
I just read some of the comments here, and changed my most recent submission, as the first one didn't really capture the difference, but this one does
-
This is an awesome idea!
Shame I deleted all of my poetry recently and just added them back up
Love you Renee
-
grown- ha! lol Maybe we've grown in some unexpected places we dared not look when we first arrived... my time here has been spent expanding, hopping through puddles... usually up to my ankles- where I would duly drown (having plunged in head-first); well, to add variety I'll give you my two cents from the world of guy-stuff (bookending all that crazy romance in the middle)...
and happy anniversary...! -
Happy Anneversary!
-
Thanks ...
for sharing that "fantastic" performance link of
''Pilobolus''! It was just that ... and also happy fifth anniversary! joy
-
First of all let me say WOW!!! This is quite an undertaking! I mean I'm lookin' at your favorite's list and I don't know how you are going to read everybody once let alone twice per person listed!
Everytime I think you can't blow my mind anymore you do it again! You are a remarkable woman Renee and I am blessed to have met your aquaintance.
You go girl!!

happpy anniversary!!!!!!
We are all blessed to have you

Happy
Anniversary Dear... Didn't bother looking to see if I was on your favorites list because it seems that since I changed my name to my real name that I was removed from all favorites list... lol, I'm nobody's favorite now... lmbo... but I wanted to wish you a Happy Anniversary anyway and lots of luck with this contest, it is a great idea and I think when I get some time I am going to come back and do some comparing as well just for the sheer fun of it... great idea! ( And you have some awsome talent already entered so is sure to be some good reading) love ya hun, Suzi -
