It seems like every day’s the same
and I’m left to discover on my own

and there’s no color to behold

Try to stay sober feels like I’m dying here

And I am aware now of how

I feel the dream in me expire
and there’s no one left to blame it on
I hear you label me a liar
‘cause I can’t seem to get this through

You say "take a line"
So are we to include a line from the song in our poem, or are we just to be inspired from it? Do we need to put the line in the author's notes?

I really love Seether. one of my favorite groups. this is actually one song I like by them.. I like their new song "Rise Above This", too. but anywho! nice contest. hope you get what you are looking for and happy judging!
