I rather like London, as you can see from my picture (taken in central London on a normal weekday) it is a bustling and busy place.

Tell me about the most unexpected place near where you live.
Rhyme or Free Verse doesn't matter but not prose, not more than about 30 line please, unless they are short lines of FV when use your common sense.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on August 7
- Rewards: Gold: 600, Silver: 300, Bronze: 100
- Final notes: Some really lovely entries, and many things I'd like in London but I'm afraid none of them outdo Hyde Park so I should really win the contest!!!
All of the entries are well worth reading, Pania's in particular is beautifully written so it gets the gold.
I could have given the other cups several ways as I was judging on contest as much as poetry and the balance between them shifts day to day.
Thank-you all for entering.
