It should bring tears to many,
and hopefully .. none will see
their selves in the place of the parent..

It has tug at my heart strings.
so I had to post it

I've been a social worker for more than 20 years, working in child protection. Still, everytime I hear or see an abused child, it moves me to tears, as if it's the first time I've encountered it. Thank you for bringing this terrible crime into the light. Bookmarked.

Aaaah! And when you finish your studies you can always come to South Africa. Social work was declared a "scarce-skill" profession here - lots of work for you .

    JoAnn,
Thanks for bringing the touching song "Concrete Angle" in a contest. I had not heard the song before now. I listened to it many times with tears in my eyes each time.
    Lovely contest idea.
I shall try to bring my best to honour such an important issue and beautifully poignant song. Martina Mcbride did such a lovely job with this piece.
    Peace and love

Thank you. But I think the wonderful people
are those that try to bring this to an end.

            You're right.
I recently read a book called "Runaway" authors name was Shy (can't remember the surname)
It was a monumental story. If you've not read it I believe it would be one that you would find heart breaking, but truly a must read.
