This is my first prompt contest. I'm providing a wide array of quotes to choose from. If you want another quote, please message me with your quote & I'll let you know if it's acceptable.

3. Please don't cuss. I don't care to read it.

4. Start your poem with the quote you choose.

5. Give the author credit in your Author's Notes. Even if it's "Author Unknown".

6. Comment on at least one other person's entry. It's nice to do, makes them feel appreciated, & will keep you from being DQ'd - as long as you followed the rest of the rules.

7. Putting others down is an automatic DQ.

8. Spell Check...use it! As well as proper grammar.
