In the year 2012 there will be a planetary alignment in our solar system - every planet will be involved in this.
Imagine the magnetic effects this is going to have on our humble little planet Earth - who knows what the forces will do to us - we might have some Earthquakes or a polar shift - who knows.
At the time of the winter solstice I am planning a huge global event called THE BIG OMMM.... where as many people as possible will gather in public venues and parks and places like that to gather together in meditation and to chant "Ommmm" together at the same time. I want it to be a big event - maybe raise proceeds for charities and communities, and it will be a very spiritual thing for many people to get together and do something like this.
As I want it to be a big party I would like some original poetry to be read throughout the day by some enlightened individuals - and where better to find them than here. I want to put the best ones into a book that will be published especially for that day - I plan to call it simply THE BIG OMMMM.
Basically if you could make your poem be about something spiritual and enlightening - or something sci fi or fantasy - it can be about anything and any form just give me your best. I shall be holding contests like this all the way up to the event so that when it comes we shall have a wonderful book for the day.
Also if you would like to take part or help with organising the event I would like to hear from you.
