As many of you know, my AP brother has decided to leave us.
I know he isn’t dead and yet I thought the coffin was somehow appropriate to the mood of my contest.
I knew he wouldn’t want a big hoop-la made of his leaving so Julie and I just held the “Darkness over AP” contest for him.
However since he is even now in the process of deleting all his work and moving on, I hope if he sees this, he forgives me for making a little bit of a fuss about him.
Wayne, quite simply is the brother I never had and his leaving has left a big empty space in my heart.
There are no rules as to what I want in this contest. All I ask is that you post something in honor of our master storyteller. He kept many of us in suspense with waiting for the next chapter to his stories.
He won’t be around to enjoy your entry so I guess personal notes are out but you can still pay tribute by posting something you know he would like.
I usually allow prewrites but I think I want new stuff for this if you don’t mind. I’ll leave this open for a couple of weeks and there is no limit on how many times you enter.
If you want to use the photo as a prompt, then go for it. I found it on a google search.
This is my own dedication to him. Feel free to read if you want but no comment is necessary.

I am sooo going to miss him unbelievably!
I can't write something Dark the way he would enjoy, but I did write a tribute a while back for him.
He will always be my brother as well, he has touched so many people that way, as a wonderful sibling. An unforgettable poet and dark writer!
I have my shelves dusted and ready for his books to fill up!
