    basically the finalists had some outstanding poetry that i read and reread several times. I have so much to say about each of those entries, but my time on the computer is limited. It was hard to judge between those poems.

    And if you were not a finalist, I hated your poem, but yet again, this was a tough quote to create a truly well written poem from.

    This is really weird; I keep trying to write a poem here and it won't let me.

      ill open the contest again for a few days so that you can enter it. and i will have it open for prewrites. that is really weird how it wasnt accepted. i hope that it doesnt happen again!

        OK thanks, I think it was a time change problem. Because it was still open as I was writing it and then even when I tried adding it a second time, but then it was suddenly closed. So there must have been a lag between time zones as the day was changing.
