youthful dreams

this contest is for someone special.....

this contest is about being young......about that first true love......about the butterfly's.....about the sorrows......about the conflicted of youth.....about the emotional roller coaster......but most of all its about who you are.....the heartache and pain that has gotten you to the point you find yourself at right now.....in your life......

when i was young someone special told me that childhood is the best years of your life....so don't be in such a hurry to grow up so fast.....

words that tho sound nice isn't always true.....innocence's isn't a guarantee that nothing bad will happen......

another thing i was told......was that i could be anyone i wish to be.....achieve anything.....so to dream big and never stop believing in myself

also words that sound great but have alot of loop holes.......society......that's the kicker......

i wanted to fly when i was 7......by 10 i stopped believing......in not just myself but in everything........

picture perfect doesn't existed......but sometimes when we are at our lowest.....we still wish

okay stop babbling now.....

i want you to write me something that you feel is still important......about something that still even after everything makes you smile just for that few moments.....touches you in away nothing else ever has or can......dream......touch the stars.....sit in silences and let your heart and soul speak for you

5. rather you didn't swear but if its the only way you can work it then keep it minimal

6. any style of writing is excepted

7. no erotic (as if that need to be here right ?)

 

8. i'd like at lest 10 entries to this.....so i reserve the right to close it if that doesn't happen or close it early if need be....... 

 

9. limit on poems none.....but no novels...... 

 

10. i may allow pre-writes later (sorry)

    If you decide to allow "prewritten" work, please let me know. I do not enter competitions that exclude it, even if - as in this case - I have something relevant that has NOT been exhibited on Allpoetry already.
