To Rhyme or Not To Rhyme - Prompt

I won Gold in Cricketjeff's contest with this: http://allpoetry.com/poem/4392770

So paying it forward as requested and because he loves rhyme so much I though this one should be in rhyme just to make him smile. Whatever form you like but more than a haiku and less than an epic thank you!!!

Your prompt with be :Pomegranate and the beautiful painting of them as well to take wherever you want.

Use it as a metaphor, springboard and go anywhere with it.


I will judge this as soon as all 10 spots are filled
and I know you all want to amaze me so go reserve a spot and write

Oh and if you cannot rhyme, I won't mind free verse either!!!!

    Well I am slightly disappointed everyone saw a pomegranate as a pomegranate and not a springboard for more, having said that my finalists were different and diverse.
