Let's get right to it......first off, sorry about a day late in Judging.....if you've noticed, we started the SO' Contest Series,..

...and it took a little more of our time than we expected yesterday, so I know for sure, your Judges are going to sleep well tonight!

Ok...out of a possible 600 points, your Gold Winner earned a total of 571.6 points.....how cool is that!

A great Theme full of talent and creativity spilling off the walls!

I am sure we are going to see this Poet again, however, we asked that the Gold Winner take a spot as Judge the next week, so we can rotate our Judges and give them some tme off ~

Another POW….and this week, I am a bit
disappointed…I scored lower than usual.
AND there were several DQ’s. Focus and
impact were lacking this week…nothing
really made me say “wow”!!

as many time as I did I also did not like the repeating of words I felt like I was reacing the same thing throughout the poem. Final Notes:
I don't have a lot to say, just chalking this up to another fantastic PO contest. : ) I do want to make a quick note of how impressed I am by the younger writers on AP...who are willing to take on a challenge that many adults won't. This IS a tough contest, and as one poet noted, it can be a little scary to put your work out there knowing the potential for having it picked apart, and with so many rules to try and follow. I hope none of us are too hard on anyone; we just want to give the best review we are capable of, in hopes it will help you in your writing.

Congrats to our winners, but a wonderful job by all of you.
