Phrase Prompt: Depths Of Reason

Recently I created a border for my AP Daughter "AngelWithDarkWings" to suit her new name.

What I want here is for you to be inspired by the phrase I added to that border and write no more than 30 lines.

Phrase prompt: "I'll keep searching the depths of reason, for the light that has escaped my wings" - Errant Panther
