Titles: Lucky Dip

This contest is a bit different from my others. I'm hoping the responses to it will give a little burst of inspiration for myself.

So here's what you have to do:


First, pick a number between one and thirty and message me with your choice. Each number has a title assigned to it, you must write something from and enter under this title (so I can keep track).

When a number is taken I will write it and the title assigned in a list on this page.

If for any reason you find you cannot enter by the closing date (23st August) message me and I will remove your title from the 'taken' list and assign that particular number a new title.

To be clear, if a title is visible in the list it has been claimed. If only a number is visible you are free to choose it.


The Rules:

No pointless swearing.
No religion.
No emo crap.
No typing LiKe A MoRoN.
No smut.
And be polite to me, one rude comment and you are disqualified and your username noted.
Enter under your given title, no changing it.


HMs will be added according to entry quality.
Prizes will be increased for outstanding entries depending on how many points I can accumulate.

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on August 23
  • Rewards: Gold: 500, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100
  • Final notes:
    Gold goes to 'Little Hands'. It made me tearful, little details gave it realism and skill with words made it hit hard.
    Silver goes to 'A Minute Longer'. It had personality and a very touching vulnerability.
    Bronze goes to 'Cracked Actor'. It made me laugh, and was very original.

    29 titles taken and only 18 entries... a bit sad really. And surprising how few people can actually read instructions.
