Ok,well this is my first contest, so don't eat me if I do something wrong.

ok. here is the prompt. Take with it what you will...

Make me weep, or smile so my whole face lights up.
I will attempt to comment on everyone's.

    ...it's embarrassing to have Honorable Mentions worth MORE than the bronze! You ought to bump up silver and bronze 25 points each!

      Firstly, thank you so much for telling me this publicly as it is much, much better than quietly IMing me.
      Secondly, I'd like to thank everyone else who noticed my rookie mistake and realized that it was my first contest and merely shook their heads in pity. I will not make this mistake again.

    Thank you so much! Let me say, too, that it used to be normal not to have silver or bronze win any points at all; it was not until the HMs were added at a mandatory 30 points each that people started routinely setting silver and bronze at something higher and I still see contests that don't, even when they want to add HMs. So please don't take that comment to heart. It is just insulting what we judges have to put up with. Many people never thank us at all for anything, not for hosting and certainly not for all those points we give away.
