Welcome to what I presume is around the 260th contest of mine. I know I make loads of them, but in truth I always love to have something magnificent to read and to find new favourites that I can delve my silly little mind into.
I have several ideas; sometimes I forget what I want to do for a contest and I bang my head against the wall, protesting against my shortage of knowledge. Then it comes to me. So some of these are those that have popped into my head oncemore. I do hope that you can work with them somehow to produce something wonderful.
My mood is slightly more elated - might be staying at the guy who I am in love with's house again. Though I am rather shocked he told me he loved me again, I choose to believe him, he's not been himself lately and he just wants me to hold him. But this is no reason to feel sad, on the contrary. Though of course this doesn't stop you from entering dark writes into the contest.
Rules
1. Please label entries correctly. If erotic, put in the erotica/adult category, if abuse is contained, enter into the abuse category. This should be rather obvious, but it always pays to remind everyone.
2. Can enter up to 5 times, though I would prefer you enter with a different option, or at least a different 'sub option'.
3. I have no particular line limit set out, though I would prefer you enter nothing more than 100 lines, due to the fact that my attention span might go a little haywire and I might have to put some music on to keep me awake. Nothing personal, of course.
4. Put option number/sub category in authors notes. This is so I know what I am judging you on, it's not just to be a pain in the brutus maximus.
5. Have fun, be creative and express yourselves.
6. Oh and I forgot, you can reserve but for the love of all things sacred, within 24 hours of the contest closing have your piece finished!
Option 1
Write in the persona of a well known, or fictional killer. For real examples you can check out www.skcentral.com and of course, murderers in fiction - even groups of killers; I just want you to put yourself in their shoes. Become the killer. Why do you kill? How does it feel to kill? What will you gain from your murders?
Option 2
I want you to write a real, deep, beautiful love poem. I want to feel it myself. I want to know it's EXACTLY how I feel for that special someone. Really bring me in. Rhyme or freeverse, form or none... Just absolutely bring me to tears, to a sigh or just make me go 'that's him'. I really want to feel the emotion in this.
Option 3
Some random 'phrases or ideas' to trigger something.
1. the end of the earths where we'll leave eachother again
2. somebody's smile seems sombre
3. who laughs hardest gets a stitch
4. the prologues the proper page
5. i'll be searching forever for a star to call my own
6. trinkets and titbits

11. in your eyes is a light i want to run to and in your heart theres a soul i want to melt into
12. someones always missing your smile
13. you touched my cheek and somehow, the world didn't matter
14. when you say you love me, i feel like a littler girl again
15. those sentimental sighs
Option 4
A little bit of a challenge. Here is a wordbank BUT you have to have the first word in the first line, the second word in the second line etc. You have to use at least 6 (aka, 6 lines) but you can use more.
1. vibrations
2. whisper
3. temper
4. calling
5. interlock
6. bitter
7. heaven
8. sigh

Option 5
Some interesting titles, maybe not so much the norm.
1. Failures Your Foes Favourite Hobby
2. Compose and Corrupt
3. Capturing Chess Pieces, Like Soldiers
4. Afraid, I found myself a friend in the dark
5. Perhaps, a Peach Shnaps?
6. Oh! What Dreams I Hold Dear!
7. Money, Madness and Misery
8. Suppose, my name is all you know about me?
9. Then The Lights Dimmed
10. Listen To The Sound of the Sweet Chariot
Option 6
"In light, you find a freedom.
In darkness, you find a foe." - Me
Gain inspiration from this random, but in my opinion, interesting quote.
Option 7
Write me a poem in a new form I have created.
I have not came up with a name for it, but if you have ideas, do state.
Line 1 - 1 syllable
Line 2 - 3 syllables
Line 3 - 7 syllables
Line 4 - 15 syllables
Line 5 - 4 syllables
Line 6 - 2 syllables
Line 7 - 6 syllables
Line 8 - 14 syllables
Line 9 - 11 syllables
Line 10 - 3 syllables
Line 11 - 9 syllables
Line 12 - 6 syllables
Line 13 - 7 syllables
Okay, that's the end of the options.
I am not letting prewrites in for the moment, but the last 2 days will allow them.
Best of luck and tell your friends.
I will comment on all poems and am also willing to accept prose.
Points may also go up and the number of trophy winners.

May I write a deep love poem in your form you came up with?
-
-
Oh yes, mix and match as much as you like
-
-
Bookmarked
-
With your form is there a certain rhyme scheme that needs to be followed?
-
-
No, as I know some people do freeverse, others do not.
So if you would like to use rhyme or not, it's your choice.
-
-
could i enter more than once?
i'm very tempted
-
-
you sure can, knock yourself out
