mother's hands was the one that jumped out at me, too. I'm bookmarking and will try to come up with something from one of these prompts. Good luck with your contest.

AURGH!
Sorry for the sudden outburst in text, but every time I edit my poem, it still says "21 lines" on this page, and it says "19 lines" on the inside! If this doesn't change, please don't DQ me. -
-
Okay, it finally turned back to 19. Sorry again for the outburst!
-
I won't DQ you! Thank you for the follow up.

mother's hands is a very inspirational
one. i wanted to try for a different one
than the majority, but alas, i fell
victim!

Hey, the more the merrier, right? Besides, everyone will put his or her personal spin on the prompt.

Hi, I really want to enter your contest, but I am busy entering so many others right now. I am going away for the week coming up and won’t be back till the 27th. Is it alright that I reserve and am able to come back that Sunday with the contest not judged yet? Or that’s not possible? I can write the piece no problem, it’ll be written very quickly, I just need the time when I get back and settled. Is that ok?

-
Yes, go ahead and reserve and submit your poem when you return. Looking forward to reading your work!
