This is the third round to the contest, out of 10.

The general feel for this round is... fantasy.

This round I am giving 3 general topics, 3 pictures, 3 titles for fantasy [also name of fantasy books BUT don't write on the book, write on the title] and another option.

Choose whichever you like, but please put which one you used in your AN, so I know what I'm judging you on.

Dark fantasy, light fantasy or sci-fi/horror based fantasy is cool with me.

Prompts & Topics

1. Write about a particular mythological creature. It can be something like a phoenix, which people claim did exist - or it could be something from a fantasy novel, though preferably a well known one. If not well known please tell me which one you used, so I can wikipedia the short course on the book/film. This could be Orcs, from Lord of the Rings or a Hippogriff from Harry Potter. But I want you to describe it's physical features, attributes, the way it acts and how it makes people feel. This shouldn't be too hard, should it? :)

2. Write about a fantasy world. It can be a good one with fairies and elves working together, where you can ride beautiful white unicorns and swim in rivers of chocolate - it can be a humourous one, or it can be a dark one - like demons shooting fire out of their eyes, all murderers roam free etc.

3. Write about your dreams coming to life, as in, they are no longer your dreams but become your reality. Or, make characters/events from a book or film come to life. So you could have an encounter with Clark Kent who is actually real now, or you could have tea with winnie the pooh, whatever you desire!

7. Create your own mystical/mythical creature/person. Explain how they look, what they do or maybe tell me a story of an adventure they come upon! I want this to be all of your creation.

1. One entry per person, which should make sense really, considering.

2. No prewrites. This is for your creativity and this can only be targeted with fresh poems.

3. No longer than 75 lines, but no less than 10.

4. Please use spell check and check your grammar. It's not a rule really, but it will be in your favour if I can understand your piece.

5. Tell me which topic[s] you have decided to use in your AN - you can mix and match.

6. I will rate you on a scale, shown below, all the way through the competition.
7. Monochromatic backgrounds preferably. I don't mind other backgrounds, I just don't want loads and loads of vibrant colours, making my eyes bleed.
